Compare premiums for your own choice of policies
To search the CareHealth Premiums Database according to your own requirements,
choose one option from each of the boxes below and click on the Search button.
Policies are divided into three categories:
- Premier policies which offer additional benefits such as travel insurance and
critical illness cover
- Comprehensive policies which provide unlimited cover for out-patient
consultations and tests
- Budget policies which either:
- exclude or severely restrict coverage for all or most out-patient consultations
and tests, or
- provide comprehensive cover only if treatment is not available from the NHS
within 6 weeks
Notes
- You should check with the company for the latest premiums and
policy details. The following insurers publish their premium rates:
Norwich Union, Standard Life Healthcare and WPA. BUPA and AXA PPP
healthcare do not publish rates (although individual quotes are available
from their websites) and there may be minor inaccuracies in the premiums
shown.
Rates for BUPA and AXA PPP healthcare also vary by region and occupation
in ways which are not explicit and you will need to check the rate
applying to your area and occupation.
- The higher excess values do not apply to all types of policy.
- High Excess policies (such as WPA's XS health and Standard Life Healthcare Choices) are included in comprehensive policies.
- If you want to see the range of hospitals available under each policy,
click here. This information is also included
with the premium details and you are recommended to take the range of eligible
hospitals into account when comparing premiums.
- No Claims Discount Policies are included in
the comparisons. We show premiums with the introductory discounts given
to new joiners. It should be noted that premium rates will increase above
these levels if you make any claims on these policies. Premiums will
decline if you have claim free years.
- Small differences in premiums may be insignificant when compared with
differences in the level of cover.
